A healthy milkshake? WHAT?!
Yes, you heard that right!! This "milkshake" has only a few ingredients, can be made in less than 5 minutes and can double as a post-workout re-fuel shake. I'm always looking for ways to make a favourite treats a little healthier and I've definitely succeeded with this shake. Packed with protein, healthy carbs and soluble fibre there's no guilt here people.
Whenever you have a bunch of bananas that have been sitting on the counter a bit too long and have become overripe, peel and toss them all in freezer-safe ziplock bag. This way, you'll have them on hand whenever your in the mood for a treat!

Healthy Cookie Dough Milkshake
Prep time: 5 minutes
1 medium frozen banana, peeled
1 cup Silk almond-coconut milk blend
1 scoop of cookie dough protein powder (I use Beyond Whey - but its your choice!)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth - enjoy immediately! You can use a little extra milk if the smoothie is too thick.
